The government wants employers to upskill their staff and has provided funds to assist employers to do this. Not all qualifications are funded however the following qualifications are funded in many states:

  • Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking)
  • Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping)
  • Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting)
  • Certificate III in Financial Services
  • Diploma Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management)
  • Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning)

NEW!! Intellitrain wins NSW government tender for Strategic Skilling Program (SSP).

Having won the tender in 2009 for PPP funding, Intellitrain were again successful in winning the new funding scheme - SSP. This means, that Intellitrain may be able to provide heavily subsidised training to those people who live and/or work in NSW.

As an example, of how this funding works:

The normal course fee for the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) is $4340. Eligible students under this funding would only be required to pay the equivalent of the TAFE enrolment fee which is $637.  This represents a saving of of over $3700!

Apprenticeship Scheme - employers may be eligible for up to $4000 in funds per person.

Minimum eligibility criteria is - the employee:

  • Must be PAYG, full or part time (minimum 15 hours a week)
  • Cannot be the owner or Director of the business

The process is:

We (Intellitrain) arrange for an Australian Apprenticeship Scheme Representative to contact you
They will meet with you and explain the process and criteria

  • You enrol the person in one of our eligible Certificate programs
  • You (the employer) receive $1500 after enrolment and $2500 upon completion of the apprenticeship (usually about six months but can be sooner).

Fees

  • We require an initial payment equal to 50% of the training fee at the time of booking then the balance approximately 12 weeks later once you receive your first Instalment of $1,500
  • We charge a Traineeship Management fee to cover adminstrative costs associated with traineeship
