PARTICIPANTSThe Diploma of Financial Services (Planning) is ideal for those who are considering a career as a Financial Planner or those professionals wishing to expand their service offering in providing holistic financial advice to clients. The flexibility within the structure of the program allows the candidate to choose their individual path for learning. The Intellitrain Diploma program has been registered with ASIC and can be viewed on the ASIC Website. WHAT IS RG146ASIC has documented the minimum training requirements for providing financial advice as outlined in the ASIC Regulatory Guideline 146 (RG146). Individuals who provide general or personal advice on financial products must meet the minimum training requirements as specified by ASIC in RG146.RG146 has specified two categories of advice and products, referring to these as Tier I and Tier II:
DELIVERY AND PRICINGPrescribed TextWhilst all course materials are provided, students will be required to purchase the prescribed text book, in order to complete the required pre-reading prior to the course commencement. Prescribed Text: Financial Planning in Australia 3rd ed Payment in InstallmentsWe can offer an installment payment plan for individuals (not corporate) who wish to spread the course cost over the duration of the course. Each of the maximum four (4) instalments will be paid at least 2 weeks prior to each module delivery. FACE-TO-FACEThe delivery method for this qualification consists of 2 or 3 day workshops per module, followed by self-paced study and completion of assignments prior to attending the next module. Typically, students will have 4 - 6 weeks between attending one module and commencing another. This method ensures that students have sufficient time to complete assignments and absorb what they have learned during the workshop. Intellitrain offers custom delivery of individual modules or the complete Diploma for clients with sufficient numbers. The key benefit for client's choosing the Custom Delivery option is that they control when and where the training takes place in order to reduce the impact to the business.
