This qualification is designed to reflect the role of individuals perform such duties as:

  • Completing BAS and other office taxes
  • Operational reporting
  • Producing of basic management reports
  • Producing basic job costing reports
  • Preparing budgets
  • Supervising the operation fo computer based systems
  • Classifying, recording and reporting of accounting information
  • Maintaining inventory records
  • Managing a small office
  • Making decisions in a legal context

 

To obtain this qualification the candidate will need to demonstrate that they have the following skills and knowledge:

  • a sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice for the financial Services industry to ensure compliance;
  • ability to understand and implement Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) procedures;
  • able to communicate effectively and efficiently to a variety of audiences;
  • sound knowledge of organisational and industry policy and procedures;
  • able to operate an accounting system to process some or all of the following
    • process tax requirements
    • prepare and produce various reports and budgets
    • maintain asset and inventory records
    • process payroll
    • ability to do job costing

The complete process from enrolment, information sessions/WEBINAR, submission support, assessment, and issuing of qualification - $870

The Intellitrain RPL process is not a pass or fail process – it’s a process of collecting the necessary evidence required to issue the qualification.  Should the candidate have any minor skills or knowledge gap, he or she will be provided with supplementary training in order to address the gap. Where there is a major skills or knowledge gap, the candidate will be required to complete study in the unit or units where the gap is identified.
