RPL - Diploma of Finance/Mortgage Broking Management PDF Print E-mail

Diploma RPL Process

If you have successfully completed the Certificate IV Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) FNS40804, you will already have obtained 13 out of the 18 units required for the Diploma qualification. In order to obtain the full Diploma you will therefore only need to provide evidence to address the remaining five (5) units via this RPL process.

RPL Candidates

It is envisaged that RPL candidates for this qualification will be existing finance/mortgage broking professionals who have been operating in the area of complex/business lending for a minimum of three (3) years.

Pre-requisite

Participants must already hold the Certificate IV Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) FNS40804. For those who do not yet have their Certificate IV, Intellitrain offer this as a stand alone course which can be completed via RPL, online, distance or classroom based. (Please call us or visit the website for details).

RPL Process

As with any RPL process the candidate is to provide evidence of their existing competency against the units required for this qualification.


To obtain RPL for the Diploma of Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management)FNS50504, the candidate will be required to submit the following evidence for assessment:

1.

 Copy of their Certificate IV Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking)FNS40804

2.

 An up to date resume reflecting their experience in the area of complex/business lending.

3.

Two (2) commercial accreditation letters/certificates from financiers/lenders.

These should highlight accreditation under the Full Broker Model (not referral model). At least ONE of these MUST be from CBA, Westpac or ANZ.

4.

Three (3) Business Testimonials

Attesting to the quality of your service. These can be from business clients for whom you have completed lending.

5.

 COPY of a case file from a loan submission that you have completed for one of your clients. Answers to the six (6) questions relating to your case file.

The full fee for completion of RPL for the Diploma Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) FNS50504 is $595.
